Yet Another Reason to Preserve This Forum
I thought I would add this: this forum makes a real difference . People involved in the day schools and the philosophy groups read what is posted on this site. The details that have been posted on this site about what happened at St James has shocked people out of their complacency. I think it has s...

Re: Shutting down
No Daffy,
Wrong response.
Please just hand it over to someone else.
Otherwise you will be just like the ratbags at SOP/SES.
Well done for the work done so far. Let someone else help out.
You are wrong, we don't all have other options. It's a good forum, there is no other one to choose.

Re: SFSK Devotee
If it wasn't for the good work of the the SOP accountant at the time, NT, the Mt Wilson property owned by SOP would be in the name of the Mavros, (or the trusts). He made sure the property was legally out of the hands of the Mavros around the time they were ejected from SOP. Regardless of any issues...

Re: Rules, regulations, and directions made in SES/SOP/SFSK
Hey Woodgreen, The rule for posting I made was meant to apply to posting one rule at a time. I.e. the criticism rule. Posting a new rule would require a new thread. Please post as much commentary as possible. Also I think Sydneykatieking may be right, I have the rule wrong. The version I posted may ...

Re: Rules, regulations, and directions made in SES/SOP/SFSK
Earlgrey, Could your wish to avoid ridicule come from low self-worth? If so, do you think SES at the start seemed to promise you some kind of liberation from this low self-worth? Might it even have offered to boost your self-worth without you quite realizing it at the front of your mind? And yet, i...

Re: Rules, regulations, and directions made in SES/SOP/SFSK
Hi AT, Yes I edited out the words ( I'm crying as I write). I was crying because I went back to the mental place I was 45 years ago. I took them out because I thought it detracted from the points I was trying to make and I was being a bit self indulgent. Also I thought I might be exposing myself to ...

Re: Rules, regulations, and directions made in SES/SOP/SFSK
Earlgrey, Tootsie, Thanks for your reply. I've noticed something that you might agree seems relevant. If I'm not mistaken, and please correct me if I am, in both of your responses the word 'criticism' is used with a meaning that is specific to your circumstances in SES. I referred to the notion of ...

Re: Rules, regulations, and directions made in SES/SOP/SFSK
I think that was brilliant. Well done. You said it was harder than you thought. What was hard about it? Thinking about it stimulated the memory of the state of my mind at the time. That was uncomfortable. "Do not criticize." How did they say one should respond to wrongdoing, in that case?...

Rules, regulations, and directions made in SES/SOP/SFSK
I wish to start a new topic called "rules and regulations, statements and directions made in SES/SOP/SFSK and their effect on people". I think it is important that this area be exposed so that victims (who wish to) may find it easier to be released from the spell of these organisations. Al...

Re: SFSK Devotee
Some food for thought: "Enlightenment aint what it's cracked up to be", a book by Robert Foreman, about his own journey towards enlightenment. An important point was that before embarking on the journey , people should sort out all their psychological "stuff", otherwise it will a...

Thank you for the link above. It's very important that the information contained in the story is made known. Otherwise they remain as SES/SOP dirty little secrets.

It just occurred to me that StillatSES might be an Internet troll.
I mean, ho hum to the School rules.
Let's just get on with our discussions.
