Leaflets and grafitti

Postby Ben W » Tue May 09, 2006 11:39 pm

Given the amazing interpretations that Roger Pincham / SES placed on Matthew's open letter (which was published here for over a month for all to see and comment on including current SES members) I am wondering what other disconnects we are working with.

The response refers to Grafitti and Leaflets. I'd like to understand precisely what we are talking about.

The way the response is worded one could be forgiven for thinking we are talking about profanities or direct threats in 6 foot high red painted letters over the front door of the school, and socialist worker style handouts calling for the masses to storm in and burn the school down.

What can anyone say about this? In particular:

Grafitti:
- What exactly is said in this grafitti?
- Where is it written?
- What size letters?
- What medium (paint, spray gun, biro)?
- When was this done?
- Is it a one off or a regular occurence?

Similarly in relation to the leaflets
- When / how often
- What exactly was said
- etc

Ben

We've been over this one, no one here will admit to having personally seen the alleged leaflet, no one here actually saw the graffiti. As to the 'illegal entry' there an allegation that Channel 4 tried to get secret cameras into the schools but no mention that they succeeded... No one knows when it happened, who did it, the text of the leaflet or the wording in the graffiti. Take a look here:

http://www.whyaretheydead.net:/phpBB2/v ... .php?t=433

This is the main problem, SES and StJ reps are happy to level accusations e.g. the 'chilling' threat without checking and establishing any facts. As far as we know these events might have been stunts set up by someone in the schools...

Thanks Daska - I missed the earlier posts.

This is like Kafka too.

Someone says there is grafitti and leafletting. No one posting here has directly witnessed any of this. No one posting here accepts any responsibilitiy for doing this.

Our working hypothesis should be that there isno grafitti nor any leaflets.

If anyone asserts that there is, we ask for the evidence. Is that fair?

I did not see any leafletting or grafitti at St James for myself. Parents were aware that this had taken place and also that windows had been broken at the school. I must reiterate that I myself never saw either the grafitti, smashing of windows or leafletting. Indeed, the school never spoke or wrote to parents about any of these issues.

During one of the open evenings/days at the Senior girls school last year, parents were targeted with leaflets informing them of the schools links with the SES and directing them to this website. Apparently a group of people distributed these outside the school gates as parents left. This definitely happened as the parent that informed me of this, did not proceed with the application at the school for her daughter as a result, even though she had really liked the school.

Bearing in mind that there are CCTV cameras all around St James, surely the identity of some of the people that targeted the school in this way must be known?

Leaflets

Postby Ben W » Wed May 10, 2006 9:52 am

OK - leaflets.

Please can someone post a copy of the leaflet here. If you have a copy but wish to remain anonymous, perhaps you could anonymously e-mail it to me at Ben.Wheaton@hotmail.com and I will post it.

OR

If you (mm or anyone else) know someone who received one of these leaflets, please can you encourage them to post it here or else provide it to you for you to post.

Let's get this out into the open.

So far the indication is that the leaflet talks about the link to SES and the existence of this site - information which I'd appreciate if I was a prospective parent and unaware of the link or the recent past.

Not trying to stir - just genuinely trying to eliminate a source of confusion.

Content of the leaflet

Postby Ben W » Fri May 12, 2006 4:41 am

Someone PM'd me with the following information from a leaflet distributed at the school last October. The leaflet said:

1. The school is a cult
2. The school is run by SES
3. The school is the subject of an ongoing inquiry
4. It also gave the address of this website

Any more information anyone? Please PM me or if you prefer write to Ben.Wheaton@hotmail.com.

Cheers,
Ben

Re Leafletting ; What is being objected to exactly ?

" Pamphleteering" was a major activity of subversives like Benjamin Franklin when working to get independence , representation etc in the American colonies and seems to take place around election time in most democracies -- does SES complain about this activity at such times ?

Wasn't Boddy a lobbyist for Lockheed and SES involved in Thatcher's political campaign ?

Didn't Martin Luther get some SES cred for the 'nailing to the door' bit ?
(I know Erasmus and Fincino fell out with the anti papist movement later )

Surely the' battle for the hearts and minds' is normally carried out by the written and spoken word by truly cultured people -- hence the notable absence by SES spokespersons on this site to defend, explain or refute issues == and the absence of any documentary proof of criminal damage or Graffitti .

Dogma does not require proof.

Leaflets and Graffiti

In reference to Daska's mention of an "illegal entry" attempted by Channel 4:

I was involved in the production of the Channel 4 News story. I know for a fact that Victoria Macdonald and team DID NOT attempt any illegal entry or secret filming in the school. They got interviews by asking for them, and gave everyone involved the right of reply.

Lawyers for the school did seem to be very concerned the news team were going to illegally enter the school, but they didn't.

In fact, Lawyers for the school contacted Channel 4 News before the film was even commissioned -- a very strange event.

It would be very disturbing if the story was being spread that Channel 4 News tried to illegally enter the school. Because I know it isn't true.
