Belgian Parliament Report on Cults Condemns SES

Postby Justice » Wed Feb 22, 2006 12:26 am

The 1997 Belgian Parliament Report on Cults contains information and witness statements which are highly critical of the School of Economic Science.

An English translation from the original French version can be seen at:

this location

A quote from the report reads as follows:

During the 5th year of studies there is a course aimed at females. They
are made to believe that they are inferior to men, that they should be
sub-servient to men. They are told how long they should breast feed their
offspring for and how frequently they can enjoy sexual relations. If
they follow these instructions they are told that for their re-incarnation
they will be men. According to the witness this clearly shows the desire
of the organisation (sect) to dominate the adepts & their lives.
Adhesion to the group causes several followers to become totally
disinterested in their family and home. The witness reported
sexual abuse towards young children.
The financial arm of the sect is more relaxed; it appears to be fed by
generous donators among whom is a very wealthy Dutch banker, M.Van Oyen.

I'm sorry, but why do we care if the beligian government of all governements don't like the SES? There isn't even an SES organisation in France let alone Belgium? It is a completely different organisation than the one in Brussels. Thanks but no thanks

In Antwerp the SES was/is active, which is made clear in the links you didn't read.

Well, according to the SES, the branch in Brussels runs completely independently...

Two different cities. Ask them about Antwerp.

The Website of one of the sub-contractors of the SES confirms this.

"Belgium: Br?sszel, Antwerpen"

I don't know how they are called in Belgium, could be "Plato School" ?

SES do exist in France, but under a different name, I believe it is Ecole de Philosophie.

I'm sorry Theo mate, but I think I have to disagree with you on this one. The SES is an international community, and therefore everything is related. Maybe not physically related, but in another subtle sense. Now if bad things start to happen in one section of the community, then it has a knock on effect, and the name is tainted. So you don't care what happens in Belgium? I'm sure they couldn't give a monkeys about us lot here, but there is a link, and this must be accepted.

peace out
Jerome

SJ, they are calling themselves in Belgium these days:

School voor Filosofie & School of Philosophy & Ecole de Philosophie

The School of Philosophy in Belgium is a non-profit making organisation whose origins lie in the School of Economic Science which was founded in London in 1937.

The Belgian School was established in 1973 and today has centres in Brussels, Antwerp and Dilbeek. In Brussels, courses are offered in English, French and Dutch. Internationally the School has branches across Europe, North America and Australia, as well as in Argentina and South Africa.
