I think most of us, or at least those of us that come from SES families, probably have a lot of affection for many people that belong to the organisation. I certainly do. I think they are deluded but then they probably have difficulty understanding some of the things I do as well. But an individual ...

I'm sorry, am I hearing correctly, the school have written to the person who wrote the letter...? But there's no mention that they've contacted the police? If they have any reason to believe it is a threat they should be contacting the police first in order to protect the children rather than the le...

Stanton There's and easy way to solve this one. If you have reason to believe that the children attending St James are under threat of harm then you should immediately, without delay and without waiting to consult with anyone else TAKE THE INFORMATION YOU HAVE TO THE POLICE YOURSELF. If the school h...

Whilst I agree that threats should be dealt with by going to the police my long experience of SES is that it is not uncommon for quotes to be made out of context. Unless and until the complete text of the letter is known in full it is meaningless rumour and speculation. In fact, what has happened he...

Stanton I cannot see any profit in discussing a quote out of context. I am tempted to describe this as 'shit stirring' as there is no way of ascertaining whether the writer was making a threat or voicing a fear. Get hold of the letter and publish the text in full - assuming it wasn't private and con...

Daska's post is quite typical of the kind of 'reconcile this , you b@st*rds!' reaction that can be expected for even the brand of mild approval of the School articulated by Stanton. Chittani your post demonstrates that you haven't read many of my previous posts that actually deal with the school, b...

Stanton A girl (16) and her friend (14) accepted an invitation from a family friend. They went to visit. They accepted a drink. The next thing they knew was when they woke up. They escaped via a first floor window without their clothes. The drinks had been spiked. They then had to accept the consequ...

How's this for scary, my sister managed to recall the whole of Oh thou lord supreme, words, music, pronunciation etc and then went on to tell of having to sing it in an external competition. The girls were excrutiatingly embarassed at having to perform it in public and were mortified to hear the jud...

It would be totally unrealistic for the School to wave goodbye to St James since it was School parents who set up the School in the first place and have continued to support it. And your point is what? That a letter addressed to the school governors should automatically be sent to anyone they think...

just to clarify... my father did sign the letter but only family members knew this therefore, as I understand the letter was addressed to the governors and marked private and confidential (Matthew please correct me if I'm wrong about this), how is Lambie aware that he signed it? Mary, John - which o...
