SES and the Internet - what is this? Universities Beware!

Came across this, as you do. It looks like someone in the SES is creating sites linked to the educational sector. To keep an eye on for now maybe. http://www.schoolofeconomicscience.org/

Re: Lucca Leadership in Ireland

One more mmclo - god forgive me if I have got this wrong - http://www.justthisday.org/support.php That's Lucca joining up with the SES and others on some non-entity day last year , that was supposed to be about some "world " thing. If we live in consciousness then they sure do not come thr...

Re: Lucca Leadership in Ireland

mmclo - there is another link http://venetiaansell.wordpress.com/category/art/page/3/ which is from someone called Rachel in the SES who's brother-in-law is in Lucca - same old connections I'm afraid. All a bit incestuous ( don't think I have spelt that correctly - Daffy can we have a spell check on...

Re: Lucca Leadership in Ireland

Hi mmclo I have no direct knowledge of Lucca although one of the leaders was coming through the ranks of the SES as a young Secretary/Tutor during my short tenure. I have found quite a few links which suggest that Lucca are quietly peddling the same stuff that the School did/does in Parts 1 and 2. (...

Re: SES is a New Religious Movement according to C of E.

Hi Bonsai

Sorry if I got the Rev Rob's connection to the SES wrong. But as you will see from his blog profile he did serve at St. Augustine's at some point. Another coincidence maybe....?....http://www.media33.co.uk/rob_marshall.htm

Re: SES is a New Religious Movement according to C of E.

Bluemoon - one thing to be aware of. I didn't really want to post this, but the St. James' School Chaplain, according to the SES, is the Rev. Rob ( or Bob) Marshall, quite a leading light in the C of E's media staff. He was at St. Augustine's in the old days ( This Forum and Clara's book suggest tha...

Re: SES is a New Religious Movement according to C of E.

Bluemoon, I do hope you can pursue this avenue. I think there are people in the C of E who care and can probably help even within the constraints of their, and Inform's, policy. A sort of "hands off but we do know there is a problem" policy! From what I have read I think it was a C of E cl...

SES is a New Religious Movement according to C of E.

The Church of England's website contains a section on NRM' s and sets out its policy towards them. The SES is named as a "personal growth" NRM. So it's official!

Re: Us gay folk...

To go back to an earlier post, the catholics in the SES ( or ex catholics as I have defined them in my spirituality) cannot even sustain themselves. They are what we would call "a disgrace". I would love it if Cherie Blair said to this forum - I will represent you against the SES. Pro bono ...

Re: Us gay folk...

Thanks Joe.I'm a bit knackered tonight, had a long hard week. But I think we are on the right track. I've done some more research and in terms of Human Rights and Equality Legislation, it would take lots of money to take on the SES in the English Courts - because it would be a civil litigation case ...

Re: Us gay folk...

[url]=http:www.equalityhumanrights.com/your-rights/religion-and-belief[url] SES are in breach of the equalities and human rights legislation IMO, in terms of the imposition of their "spiritual beliefs" and in their attitude to people's sexual orientation. The SES is a registered charity p...

Re: Us gay folk...

Just to add to my previous post. I do not want to offend any people who still have family in the SES. As adults now, the ex - St James pupils have actually long moved on in their lives. Well done - you have been brave in saying thank you, bye bye. Just the same as people outside of the SES do. As te...

Bonsai wrote "I disagree woodgreen. Personally I am as suspicious any faith based schools and think that your good experiences at a Catholic school are down to good fortune rather than any major differences in Catholicism and the SES." I think my good fortune was in not being sent to an SE...
