Re: Just for fun...really?

Hi Bluemoon, you said I can't disagree with you that our parents, cultures, religions, socio-economic and working arrangements, as well as various other groups and organisations all make us what we are, one way or another. If there is really no real difference between a 'culture' and a 'cult', what ...

Re: Just for fun...really?

Hi Bluemoon, you said, Interesting points, and I agree with you about most of it. After all ‘cult-ure’ and ‘cult’ are very similar (probably derived from the same original meaning??). Re: Where I'm at

Cm0006j, you said, I think my experiences were not nearly as bad as those in England and some of the other, more organized branches. Yet I feel hurt by what I did experience. I spent around 15 years in the school as an adult, which certainly gives you more options than a child would have to make cho...

Re: Just for fun...really?

Your position on this is extremely difficult. Any group that we identify and belong to exerts a powerful attraction, and clearly your friend finds that link to this school. In addition, the reason this school exists and seeks members is similar, but probably more subtle than a typical religious grou...
