Cranky SES diet & digestive disorders - Coincidence?

Cranky SES diet & digestive disorders - Is it coincidence? I take medication for a digestive problem: I would suppose stress played a major part in this. Same here. I?ve seen reference to this quite a few times on this BB now. It makes me wonder how many others this applies to that have either ...

It is obvious from their language that they don't like it when they use expressions like "faceless" and "anonymous" "faceless" and "anonymous" ? reminds me of a certain mystery 3rd governor. Funny how the terms ?double-standards?, ?wanting it both ways?, and ?gross hypocrisy? keep springing to mind...

Further breaches of confidentiality

Having said all that, we have also been confused by the need to keep this third overseeing governor's name a secret. It seems odd. So not only is this third governor unnamed, but he/she also has access to all our replies. On top of this, governors Story & Pickering make no mention of any of thi...

PR & proffesionalism...or lack of it

In future, only the two named Governors and the Governor overseeing the reconciliation procedure will be privy to correspondence. Who is this other ?Governor overseeing the reconciliation procedure?? That?s the first mention of this. Why are they only announcing this now, as a part of this statemen...

I?ve just seen this thread. Sorry for not posting earlier. The open letter was sent to the St James Chair of the Governors. As the letter directly concerns and involves St James and the SES it was also Cc?d to the four heads i.e. DB, PM, LH, and DL. I do stress that all the letters to these individu...

Your comments on Gurdjief are interesting. There was mention of him and his disciple Ouspensky a fair amount back then, but it all went over my head. Your comments on Gurdjief and discipline are particularly interesting. Is there anything written on this you can refer me to? See Peter Washington's ...

To speculate that apologies aren?t forthcoming because of the possibility of legal action is perhaps a bit of a red herring. If this was the case why have there been no lawsuits against any of the three people who have already given them (publicly), and that was over a year ago now. It?s important t...

Re: Aversion to Classical Music

It's a terrible thing to have to confess but I have a very low threshold for classical music which I think is a result of my St J/SES upbringing. Does anyone else get this? Yes, very much so!! I had to rediscover it for myself about 20 years after being force-fed it throughout my childhood. I now l...

I haven't experienced the hushed tones thing when people leave. It's not spoken about in any great detail or anything, but people ask after each other, and pass on info about new life directions, babies, jobs, etc. The school here recently set up a meditation group on a Friday afternoon/evening for...

Letter from the Governors

I received by recorded delivery this morning a letter from the governors (sent by Veale Wasbrough, the solicitors for the inquiry), dated 13 March. It says, inter alia, 'We would like to do all that we can to reconcile any differences or difficulties there might be, and would welcome the opportunit...

Q. What do bullet-proof vests, fire escapes, windscreen wipers, and laser printers all have in common?

A. All invented by women.

Another question might be, who is employing the lawyers that have put St James on notice? PPIAG? Tom / Matthew etc ? Or a third group altogether? Not I. All we asked for from day 1 was simple apologies. They then decided to turn the heat up by holding an inquiry. The findings of which led to what i...

Re: Debenham

I am encouraging said brother to contribute - I trust you are too. Yes, I have been for the last 2 years! He has contributed to the Mike Warham?s St J/V Reunited site, and more importantly (with some gentle persuasion) to the inquiry. His is a story that really does need to be heard; of which there...

Great to hear from you again Ben. I will never forget the time you and your brother came round to our house in Hampstead and you performed the keyboard part to ?The lamb lies down on Broadway? (Genesis) on our upright piano at the top of the house. The piano was out of tune but it still sounded incr...
